Saucony’s wudes are the most comfortable. They have a limited range of colors for the wides though

I have a tailors bunion and have had the same problem with running shoes no longer working. Wide Hokas used to but not anymore. I currently am running in the NB Fuel cell Rebel in wide and it seems to have a wider forefoot. I used to like the Altra Torin but their newer ones are narrower than their older ones, but maybe give them a try? Ditto to posters saying they Brooks in extra wide (the Ghost comes in it). Or try some men’s shoes. I feel your pain though!

Any recommendations?

Go to a running store and don't state which brand you want to try. Let them figure it out.

This - there’s wide and extra wide. You also should look at changing your lacing style so that you relieve some pressure in the toe box

Beyond going to a running store, you need to come up with a better qualification for your feet other than “wide.” Some feet need wider toe boxes (altra mentioned up thread is good for that); some really need more midfoot width. There are a lot of resources and reviews online for you to do some of your own research and go to a specific shop armed with some information. That’s going to be a lot better than 20 minutes of consultation for a pair of shoes you are going to use on the order of 50-100 hours.

I have wide men’s 12 feet. I have four models of saucony shoes currently in my rotation. Only easy running shoes are in a wide format.

Are you buying Brooks in wide sizing? Harder to find, but they have it on their website.

Try ASICS. Also try Potomac Running for a free assessment, they will give you a variety of brands to try. Everyone I know who has asked for an assessment at Fleet Feet in the last few years has Brooks pushed on them, myself included. It’s odd, it wasn’t that way in the past.

Try Altra shoes. I found them at REI, but you can also order online.

Hokas were not wide enough for me. I wear New Balance extra wide (EE).

Thanks, I've never worn New Balance. I've been to Fleet Feet for a fitting, but stuck w/their Brooks. I'll see if they have NB.

I wear Fresh Foam from NB. They are a stability shoe, I overpronate, according to RnJ. I am normally a 8.5-9W but wear a 9.5 wide in the NB.

I think Hokas run really wide.

I've worn Brooks for years, but now they seem to have changed something and I can't find a pair that fits well. I have a 'tailor's bunion', which is on the outside of the foot (vs a regular bunion that's on the inside) which is complicating the issue.

Any recommendations?
