You can look at the Level 5 samples in the Beast Academy page to get a sense for the number of questions and what to expect: https://beastacademy.com/resources/printables

Thanks for all the answers above! Does anyone know how many questions they are gonna give for the assessment?

You won’t be able to enroll for in-person or online in-person class until you complete the assessment, at least that was what we did 4 years ago. The assessment is basic. The evaluator will ask your child to solve a math question and show their work. They will discuss how they solved the problem.

There's a recent thread about this.

For 1, generally yes, but you can ask for a placement test if you're not sure. You might want to get a copy of beast academy online and have your kid look at levels 3 and 4 over the summer.

for 2, I'm not sure what you mean. Are you asking about the tests given in the class? If so, they deliberately make them challenging, and getting around 70% correct is often a good score.

Hi I am thinking about enrolling DC in the AoPS Vienna and I have two questions: 1) Should we pick Level 5 Math since he's turning 5th grader? 2) What does the student assessment look like? Thanks!!
