Re: co-ed, we are open to that for both kids! For single sex, it sounds like there are unique advantages for girls, and unique disadvantages for boys, so we are less open to single-sex education for DS.

Also St. Andrew's in Potomac, and Sidwell's DC campus and Maret aren't that far either. I guess there aren't any co-ed private high schools with a Bethesda mailing address, but none of these or the ones PP mentioned are far if you live in Bethesda.
