I see many kids have scores 600,seriously we are missing something .

Op here . Yes at my DD school the teachers started sharing the scores last week . The worst part is DD 's friends were all discussing their scores that's where it gotten worse .
Are schools sharing the score results with your children? Ours never told their scores by school and we never told them.

NP kids at our school know how to check their scores is SIS, then they all talk about their scores. Drives me crazy.

It's a bad practice... kids just get jealous and feel ashamed.

Curious. Do you know if your school is piloting E3 math OP?

SOLPass tests are old and considerably easier than the current version. Don’t use it to benchmark how your DD will do on the real test.

This is true. It does change. They jump a full year of math in 5th.

We let our kid takes practice SOL test and go over what they don't understand. As long as it's pass advanced, we don't care if it's 500 or 600.

Hello all ,
DD is in 5th grade ,did prepared well for Math SOL but the scores didn't reflect well. We are doing enrichment for Math still couldnt see any success. DD does well in class tests (98-100%)and iready (99%). So I was wondering how is it different and also I have seen the previous year questions from solpass which seems fairly easy . So how does it gets harder and I have no clue how to prepare. DD is so upset with the score . Appreciate any suggestions to prepare for next year. Also I see the scaled score but cudn't figure it out , is there a link to get more info? .
