Team practice is whatever field slot your coach can get.
Pool practices have been Mon, Wed or Fri- either 5-6:15 or 6:15 at 730 at Gunston.
It’s likely you won’t find out either until days before the season starts. (One year we found out on a Monday that practices started that day).

We haven’t heard yet. They emailed last week that they would be extending offers early this coming week.

So it doesn't seem like they've stacked the teams with kids whose parents want to volunteer.

I’m sure it doesn’t hurt but I did meet someone recently who said they coach their kid on an ASA rec team and the kid tried out for ADP and didn’t make it.

Any opportunities if you missed try outs?

Does a parent volunteering to coach help a kid gain a spot at all?

They take the majority of kids who try out the first year. Every year after that, I've heard they take far fewer because not many kids are leaving the program.

That’s arlington’s development program, like skills clinics for kids who want to do more than rec. I didn’t know they had tryouts this late. But I hear they take most kids.

Cmon people acronyms are no fun. We are not living in your head… also for God’s sake flag whether you are talking boys or girls. (Preferably in title)

Hi, my 2015 boy tried out tonight. Couldn’t figure out how they were sorting kids - seemed like a third of the field was the most skilled players, a third mid tier, and a third of the weakest players. But also kinda seemed like they were sorting by size…

Beyond field placement, My kid seemed to be middle of the pack, as we expected. How many kids would you expect they take on?

Good luck to everyone who tried out this year!
