Giant and Safeway have a similar bread in their bakeries to the Harvest bread.

I'm in Charlottesville, VA and just found out both the "Harvest" and "Whole Grain Multigrain" have been discontinued. The bakery employee said some Whole Foods stores continued to carry these two breads longer than other stores, until being completely phased out. I asked if they would be offering a similar option in the future and the employee said he thought so and suggested checking back. He also suggested contact Whole Foods Customer Service. I know their bread comes in frozen and is then baked on-site, so it could be a manufacturer/distribution issue. Thanks to those of you who suggested similar options.

Call customer support and tell them you want it back. I was told they will bring it to my store in southern DC as people complain.

Second the killer Dave’s. The regular whole wheat is a little flimsy, but the seeded ones seem a bit firmer.

Thanks for these suggestions. Please keep responding as I just discovered same. This was not a bright decision by amazon corporate management!

Dave's Killer bread - we like the thin sliced but regular is good too. Both the green bag and the yellow bag.

We have been buying the whole foods harvest wheat bread for years and years but they have discontinued it. What is a good replacement for this bread?

It was whole wheat with seeds, no added sugar. It was not too dense but had a wholesome bite. Their other whole wheat is limp, doughy, and has added sugar (honey). Does anyone have any suggestions?

Whole Foods has no good replacements so we will need to find a new grocery store, I guess? Does Wegman's have any good breads? We live in NW DC. Bread Furst has some ok breads but does not have a good whole grain option (and they burn their breads a bit too much for my liking).
