It is not that easy, especially if it is a rear wheel. You need to take the calliper and rotor off so you could see what is going on. If you start to blindly pound the stud you’ll get it stuck half way.
Well, yeah? And? You also need to jack up the car and take the wheel off, too. I didn’t mention that either, did I?
I guessed some things are just understood. Clearly I’m wrong about that.
