Thank you! I should prob cancel consult with gastroenterologist and straight to colorectal surgeon? Gastro doc does hemorroids but I see your point above, it may now be considered a skin tag.

If it is a prolapsed hemorrhoid, it can be banded. If it is a skin tag, you need to see colorectal surgery. Removal is surgery.

^i fear they wont help if it appears as deflated, but substantial pencil width skin tag

Are there any buzz words, things I should say to physician assistant during consult? I want them to remove a former grade 4 hemorrhoid that is now deflated and sticking out.

Hygeine issue, pain, obstruction?

Admittedly some of this is due to vanity (single female) but it is a simple procedure I'm told and want it gone!
