I just hate packing.

One time my DH surprised me with a vacation and he had bought new clothes/packed some stuff for me and it was so great lol. I wish I could just show up and have a closet ready there.

Other than that, I love all the planning and stress of it. Just not the packing!

I did. We traveled a lot. I went with DH on biz trips plus we took vacations, I had packing phobia quite severe.
Then covid, health issues...I regret having dreaded those trips. Much less opportunity now.

Going to see family abroad next week and I have no idea how I will actually leave. I have so much to do with work and so does dh. I usually sort of have to prepare mentally for travel because I am a fearful flyer, have to get gifts for people...It feels like a whirlwind of stress at this point. Do you ever feel that way and dread travel?
