No. And yes this has happened to me.
I have a small handful of parents (2 to be exact) who I would say something to because I know them very well and trust them. Things you would need to know...how the parent will approach the child with the information and how they will handle things (you could be making things much worse for a kid when you don't know their family situation), whether the parent will implicate and drag you or your child into the conversation with the child (some parents will stir up drama for you and your kid).
Too many unknowns and too much at stake when you don't really know a person.
So no, keep your mouth shut.

It depends. If it's an acquaintance or just an associate, no. If it's a close friend, yes, of course. Also, I don't think of it as "correcting" them. My friends are my village; we're in this together.

No only once did I tell a mom her kid was selling pot at school. Well actually I gave him 2 days to tell her himself. Then talked to her to confirm.

I don't know if I'd do it to "correct" them, but if I'm friendly with the parent, I might say something about the vaping because it's health related (and assuming I saw it with my own eyes). If I don't know the other parent well, I wouldn't say anything.
