I have not made that switch, but you can try a Mirena IUD. The Mirena IUD also usually eliminates any breakthrough bleeding, which the Combipatch is notorious for causing. The IUD releases far less systemic progestin than the Combipatch.

My doctor recommended switching to the Combipatch because even after a few month that oral Prometrium makes me groggy and out of it. I’m a little concerned
because I had trouble with synthetic progesterone when I was on the Pill and the Combipatch reviews on here are not great (I’m thinking of the rage and rapid weight gain poster). Anyone made this change with success?
