Hi,

I'm so sorry you're struggling with all of that.

Caryn Crotty is great.

Do you need to use insurance? The practice she works for only takes BCBS. Obviously, you can also just pay out of pocket.

Lots of empathy here-- you are not alone.

This website can be helpful when searching for a therapist https://www.psychologytoday.com/us/therapists

I had better luck using this as a starting point than I did with the list from my insurance company.

Take care of yourself!

No recs for DC but just here to say you’re not alone. Going thru the same and it has been absolutely brutal. Such a dark time right now. Same demographic as you. And other friends are feeling varying degrees of the same.

Ive never seen a therapist before but have been feeling increased depression/anxiety/worry/apathy/spiralling. I know its menopause+middleage+work anxieties. I feel I need some help. What kind of therapy should I see and does anyone have suggestions? NW DC preferred. Thank you!
