NYT is also SJW newspaper at this point so it won’t be better.

The Grey Lady is over, too. Recently cancelled my subscription in favor of WSJ and Bloomberg.

It used to be a good newspaper. Maybe it can be again.

+1 WAPO lost credibility during its extreme left Covid-era.

The Post is barely a shadow of its former self. At this point I’m not sure anything or anyone can save it.

I've been a digital subscriber for about 10 years. I live in flyover country now. In the '90s, I used to buy print copies from a box to read on the Metro to work.

I always felt slightly creeped out by the "Democracy Dies in Darkness" motto. I expect the press to be looking to preserve democracy but that motto gave off a slight whiff of daily dystopia that I could have done without.

I feel like there have been some interesting coverage experiments lately but some of the core world news and U.S. politics has been less compelling. I can't say why but maybe it's because the world is in endless mistake repetition mode.

I wish the Post luck with its latest rejuvenation.

Sorry, not the new editor, the new publisher. Although he's wrong about AI. They'll figure that out pretty quick.

Democracy Dies in Darkness is still the only text on the screen as soon as the Post app opens. I hope it’s not excised as so has been under Bezos.

He used to work in Murdoch land. I also see they removed “Democracy Dies in Darkness” and now “Independent Newspaper”. He is editor through the election. Bezos shows his cards—not a pretty sight.
