2.49% for 72 months on 2024 Foresters is a damn good deal. Plus, you'll get a good discount on a 2024 model now that 2025's are rolling out.

Otherwise its 4.9% for 36 months on the 2025 model
Subaru always has great financing deals if you're 750+ FICO
Also, I'm convinced they have great financing because so many Subaru owners are all-cash buyers. Back in 2019 the financing guy at our Subaru dealer in the DC suburbs said that more half half of their buyers were paying cash. It's probably even higher today given current rates. So Subaru has to offer lower-than-market rates to get anyone to finance their purchase.
Subaru is for UMC frugal people with big retirement account balances.
Ding ding ding! It's the smart play. All the PPs who clutch their pearls because Foresters don't drive like performance cars are missing the point.

It is absolutely worth the extra $2K to get a ton of extra options - moonroof, heated side mirrors, fog lights, powered drivers seat adjustments, heated front seats, the larger infotainment screen (11" vs. 7" on base), etc.
The rest of the trim lines are whatever. Definitely "nice to have" if you can afford it. We have a Limited trim line with some extras (like the Harmon Kardon upgrade sound system) and that's very nice. But if you have a pretty strict budget, then go with the Premium trim line and get the best bang for your buck.
Everything but the base model (with optional manual transmission) will still have the same shitty CVT transmission though. Garbage transmission for garbage cars.
