DH and child 1 were at an extracurricular and got food at a coffee shop.
Child 2 didn't want to eat and then later finished up leftover cottage pie: ground turkey, onion, corn and mashed potato. (that whole meal took longer, didn't cost much and provided leftovers!).
He also had a nectarine which were like $13 for the bag! I see the in-season fruit and load up a bag and then when it goes through as $13! That's crazy! I'll make sure we eat them all even if I have to make them into a cobbler.
Peach and nectarines aren’t in season yet. You are paying o cut of season prices for CA fruit. In the DMV, mid-late July is stone fruit season.
