Sort of. Lafayette has a pretty similar selectivity level to F&M. My son looked at many of these. Dickinson has a pretty good reputation but is pretty easy to be admitted to (easier than many of the others).

OK, sorry, my info is a couple years old and Dickinson's admissions rate has dropped a lot. Lehigh, Bucknell, Lafayette, Dickinson, F&M all seem to be in the 30-40% admitted range.

Gettysburg and Muhlenberg are easier.

Yes - the schools often pull the same applicants (add Villanova in there as well).

Lehigh is known for being a big research school, has double the endowment, and has a host of new and interesting cross-school majors. Bigger, more diverse than Bucknell. The 2 schools are on par for business. Accounting in particular - they have great placement with the big 4. They're both big party schools (work hard/play hard)

There are peer schools, Bucknell better for students interested in business, Lehigh for engineering, everything else, tie.

Lewisburg is not scary. Bucknell is just in basic, rural central PA.

Lehigh is a much more serious academic experience.

How would you differentiate? What kind of student thrives there?
Lehigh tracks DI way more than Bucknell

Do these two schools have many cross-applicants? I really don't understand the distinctions between the PA schools. Yes, know we need to visit but trying to figure out how to prioritize. Thanks!
