When I was having trouble finding 7.5 I did a compounding pharmacy for a month while on a wait list for 7.5. I actually only needed 2 compounded injections so now deciding whether I should take the remaining 2 doses of compounded, or discard that now that I have the name brand.

Agree to check out the Zepbound subreddit. People seem to have bad side effects with the big jumps. The subreddit is also a great resource for locating Zepbound, though, so it might help you find 7.5.

I highly recommend asking this on some of the Reddit subs. I follow some of the Wegovy/semaglutide ones, and some people have had problems doing this with that med - severe side effects landing them in the ER.

I know more about Wegovy than Zepbound, so I'm not sure how applicable this is, but Wegovy at least has a half life of about a week. What this means is that when you take your next dose, you are not starting with no medicine in your system; you are starting with the new dose PLUS 1/2 of whatever was in your system a week ago. What that means is that the medicine builds up in your system to higher levels.

Anyway, I would read some of the zepbound and GLP-1 subs and maybe post there. I would guess you will get some good answers there.

I have been having trouble filling Zepbound and my doctor sent over two options for the pharmacy to fill, depending on what they can get in. 7.5 and 10. I've been on 5 for a month now with no issues.

Is jumping to 10 going to be a problem? I didn't think to ask during my appointment. She was in and out of the room in 5 min.
