We read this in 9th grade English and I was choking down tears even then. If anyone missed this short story, read it!

I love it. Also A Child's Christmas in Wales.

I used to read it every Christmas, but haven’t in several years. I should start it again. Yep one of the best pieces of writing I’ve ever read.

After watching HULU’s “Capote and the Swans” and “The Capote Tapes,” I just checked out “A Christmas Memory” from the library and we read it aloud. It is one of the most touching and heartfelt stories I have ever read. We all cried. Highly recommend. It is not a Christmas story; it is about love.
