I agree it is a good alternative to travel for those not interested in it but I don't understand the tryouts since they seem to just pick everyone anyway as long as they can fill teams.

I didn’t even know until I stumbled on this thread that one had to try out for ADP.

Be patient, and drop a quick short email making your interest known and requesting a quick update on the status of your child placement?

Also didn’t receive an offer. 2016 girls. Am surprised, honestly. She looked decent compared to the overall group in my estimation, though it was hard to figure out how the process worked. There was less sorting/movement between the various fields than I’ve seen in other tryouts. Unless they perfectly placed everyone randomly at the beginning, it’s hard to see how they were sorting by field placement.

OP here - thank you, PP. This is helpful context. Maybe they haven't sent anything out just yet.

We have not received an offer. A much stronger teammate also has not received an offer. There were 124 2016 boys and my 7yr old said the coaches said “85-90 people will do something” so I interpreted that as 85 spots.

People probably need to decline for others down the list to get offers if you haven't received one.

Has anyone from U9 (2016) girls or boys received offers? Email went out saying initial offers would go out early this week.
