London is almost always 5 hours ahead of the US Eastern Time Zone. If the meeting is scheduled for today at 7 PM London time, that's 2 PM in DC.

There are a few weeks in March and October when it's only a 4 hour time difference, because we have longer Daylight Savings Time, by a few weeks on either end.

They are not on GMT in the summer. They are on British Summer Time- BST. Just like we are not on EST right now- we are on EDT.
