It’s tough to have a birthday party at that age that works for all because there are so many napping schedules, and the kids get really cranky.

This is mostly for you, not for the kids, so keep it short and sweet. Get your pictures and end it quickly to avoid cranky kids.

yeah keep it open ended and casual so people can leave when they feel the need

I would go by what works best for your child’s nap schedule. It means some of the older kids might not be able to come, but it is what it is.

I agree with 10am. It feels weird but that’s when the kids are awake and ready to play. Most of our play dates or activities at that age happened at 10am. 11 is late enough that they can’t do anything else that morning but their kid is just waiting around.

10 am is perfect for 1 year olds.

If you’re inviting daycare classmates and will have a mix of kids who take 2 naps and kids who take 1?

I am thinking either 11 or 4.

Backyard party so we don’t have a venue to deal with.
