Clubs don't control when leagues schedule the final games. Some of them are already done, some go into early June.
With most tryouts being complete, it can be hard to get kids to practices/games/tournaments for teams they know they won't be on next season.
I imagine if there was a trend, it would be that younger teams tend to practice beyond their last game more often, where as older teams will tend to call it quits.
