Lol same here. This is the first year we have nothing going on for memorial day weekend, feels so odd.

The refs are awesome. Except for the one who didn't show up this morning and forced everyone to scramble.

I figure he had a premonition about how awful one club's parents were going to be. (And they were *winning*. Handily!)

Our team is playing significantly down because of some injuries and illnesses. Everyone in our house has been throwing up non stop since Friday. We had hoped my son would be okay to play today but unfortunately not for a morning game. His team got crushed yesterday and probably this morning as well.

Some spring tournaments are used as ref training.

It's ALWAYS hot as h*** and refs are terrible at that tournament. Plus they play on tick filled fields. Make sure your players check themselves and check your little kids when you get home.

The refs are always hit or miss. The tournament seems well run so far

How did you know they were being evaluated?

We had a good ref and he was definitely being evaluated and I thought he did a good job
