I can only speak for the VA GA portion. We probably only play 1 game against a MD team in the fall, if you look at their schedules they only have 2~4 games in the fall because that is their high school season and we'll play them mostly in the spring. As far as VA GA, we'll have 9/10 league games (PA, NJ, DE, other VA) in the fall and 6/7 in the spring (MD and everyone else). I think most of the VA GA spring games are in Jan/Feb and late May/June schedule before/after the high school season - but typically Mar/Apr/Mid-May there is only 1 or 2 games.

Practices - come when you can, usually combined HS age training.

As far as game schedule, there should never be a VHSL and GA conflict because VHSL is during the week and GA is on the weekend.
