My sister got her PhD at Glasgow University in Scotland. It was a while ago and much different than undergrad but she loved it.

Those are great universities in Japan. I don't think they convey much value outside of Japan, though.

Stick with UK schools. Would depend on major but would go for the top tier schools such as Oxford/Cambridge, St Andrews, Edinburgh, LSE and Imperial if interested in STEM.

Hoping to get some advice for my niece. She wants to go abroad for her college experience and is looking at Canada and Europe. She is a high stats applicant (maybe T-20 caliber) and applying in the fall. Any suggestions? So far she has looked at UofT, McGill, Oxford/Cambridge, and St. Andrew's.
