Given what was posted about the difference in men and women getting fit, this made me laugh.

The best trick I follow is to just eat a ton of vegetables. The more fibrous, the better.

You have to eat fewer. Sad truth.

It is way more complicated than calories.

Weights can increase your weight so that is not necessarily reflective of your fitness goals. Running increases your appetite.

Think about food by type, not just calories. I find I can't eat pasta and bread like I used to but I can eat plenty of proteins, fats and vegetables.

You really need to adjust and move to two meals a day.

Start writing down everything you eat, how much, and when. Saying you "have eaten relatively healthy" is meaningless.

Welcome to the club. Ugh. I’m 45 and I’m trying to lose weight that’s creeped up in the last few years. I have lost 5lbs so far.

Learn to accept the changes. Perhaps your body is tired of tge yo-yo dieting?

Check with you doctor about your weight. You maybe fine!

Ugh… Ever since 42 my weight has been so hard to maintain/lose control. In all my years I have eaten relatively healthy and it was so easy to stay slim. Now it’s really really hard and i have put on 10 pounds since mid-thirties and creeping up seemingly by the week. It’s so hard I thought i might be in menopause (on mirena) and had on run blood work…nope. I’ve been lifting weights, started running. The only thing that has helped has been intermittent fasting but that too can be difficult. What gives…help.
