I have an old Lands End ponte dress that is perfect for this and a really easy wear, but they stopped making it.

I'm also a big fan of just buying sleeveless dresses and wearing a cardigan or short jacket over them. It's so hot in the summer that i can't stand to wear long sleeves to commute, but my office is freezing.

Thanks for the MMF link, I have been meaning to schedule a session with them. I like the Boden styles, but the jersey aspect throws me off.

I have the Boden dress in a print and get tons of compliments when I wear it. I would not wear for a very formal meeting but it’s fine for my office most of the time. Is your office very conservative/formal? If so I think you are stuck with blazers

OP here: lol, the half sleeve ones are itchy under cardigans. But if you see a three-quarter sleeve cardigan, I am all years

DP but these are gorgeous! And look super professional and very put together.

I struggle with the same OP - most of the styles in basic stores are terrible. Not appropriate for work and not flattering anyway.

I am a loss. 45, 5’ 3” and a petite Size 8. I work in an office where covered arms is a requirement. I just can’t find things to wear. Everything is sleeveless, ovey stuffy or has funny balloon sleeves. I also wear skirts and tops but most tops come with the floofy sleeves that end above your elbow. What am I missing?
