I had one at ten weeks exactly like this, except I was on a work trip. I had to call an ambulance, went to the ER. Once the bleeding subsided, they let me go, I went home and to my OB. I miscarried.

I had a medium sized one discovered at 9 weeks when I started bleeding and went in. Now 22 weeks with no other issues, and it was gone by 12 weeks.

I had a medium one, which caused a few weeks of very light spotting and a couple days of heavier spotting. Healthy pregnancy, and that kiddo is now three and a half.

Mine was found after I had significant bleeding at 7 weeks during my first pregnancy. I had no other issues and went on to have a pretty uneventful pregnancy.

I had bleeding at about seven weeks and thought for sure it was the beginning of a miscarriage. But it was just this, and everything turned out fine. Kid just turned 2!

I had medium sized subchorionic hemorrhages with both of my IVF pregnancies. I abstained from sex until they shrunk in size. If not for the ultrasound, I never would have known they were there. They did not bleed.

I had one in my last pregnancy that was discovered because I started bleeding at 12 weeks. Like yours my doctor was surprisingly nonchalant about it but put me on pelvic rest. Googling freaked me out too, but it ended up fine, my kid is two.

My friend also had one discovered around 8-10 weeks on an ultrasound but never any bleeding. Her kid is now also two.

I'm sorry to hear this and for your losses. Were they small or large if you don't mind elaboratiing?

One was bleeding, the others were all silent. I don't have a good reference frame for small vs big. My most recent one, while on immune meds was considered extremely small. I haven't yet lost that pregnancy.

I've had them and honestly it's a crapshoot. Sometimes they resolve on their own and everything is fine, and others you miscarry. There is nothing to be done about them at this stage anyway.

I also had one at my 8 week ultrasound. My doctor wasn't overly concerned about it, just said to lay low on any physical exertion and sex for about 6 weeks. The doctor told me to monitor any bleeding/cramping symptoms, but I never ended up having any. By my 12 week ultrasound, it had resolved by itself (I think my uterus just reabsorbed the bleeding?) I know its nerve-wracking but try not to freak yourself out!

I had the same thing - discovered at 8 weeks and OB was very nonchalant like yours. I did a bunch of internet research too because I’m neurotic like that haha. Basically, there’s a strong likelihood that it will resolve itself, and even if it doesn’t, chances it’ll threaten the pregnancy are quite low (had a friend with a large one, lots of bleeding, etc. and she delivered safely in the end). Mine resolved by 14 weeks or so if I recall correctly and pregnancy has been uneventful since. My doc advised that avoiding lifting, strenuous exercise, etc. and pelvic rest weren’t really necessary but I did those things just for my own peace of mind. Don’t be alarmed if you have some bleeding (common with sch) but do get it checked out.

At my 8 week ultrasound my doctor mentioned to me that I had a small subchorionic hematoma. She said that she was only mentioning it because I may see it on my ultrasound report, but that she was not concerned about it. This doctor is new to me, so I don't have much of a sense of how she delivers news generally, but she was very nonchalant about this. Google is obviously less so. She said it's possible I may have some bleeding/spotting or cramping.

Has anyone experienced this early in pregnancy and can share some reassurances or experiences?
