The county exec can do nothing, but if a young person too young to be charged with swatting is found responsible for this, their parents should be assessed with a fine sufficient to cover county costs for the police response.


Nah, an emergency response force benefits from regular practice. The payoff comes when a real catastrophe strikes and the well-prepared minimize damage.

It's really sad that this is happening and also really sad that people get more up agitated when it's a "W" school. My son is at one of these "Ws" that hasn't had a lockdown and said yesterday it would never happen at his school. I said I am glad it hasn't but don't be surprised if it does. I think he'll be disproven soon.
