The pink jeeps go on many different excursions, not just one. It's fun and the kids and adults enjoyed it. All of Sedona is an over priced tourist trap. It's not a budget vacation. People do this because they can afford it. YMMV.

Bumping this thread - is Enchantment as good as promised? Would love to hear recent experiences.

Just a heads up, it will be SUPER crowded in October. Weekdays should be a little better than weekends.

The Enchantment is a wonderful resort and I believe the spa was just fully renovated. It is a little more removed from town and has terrible cell service, ymmv if that is a pro or con. I believe the pool is heated, but October may or may not be pool weather.

Other options: L'Auberge is beautiful and within walking distance of some shops/restaurants. Ambiente is a new resort that looks amazing, it's adults only if that would work for you (we always have our kids with us).

Book reservations at Elote Cafe 60 days out, it's small and books up quickly. Forty1 is the restaurant at that new resort, also very popular

Check out Tlaquepaque for sure. Consider a side trip to Cottonwood and Jerome. The drive up 89A through Oak Creek Canyon (towards Flagstaff) is beautiful - or better, take the 17 north and then come back to Sedona on 89A.

Pink Jeep's broken arrow tour is the most popular and it's fun. I think they also do a tour out to some of the vortexes as well.

Another potential resort is the Wilde Resort. It's not in the congested downtown area but we really liked it. It's not as remote as Enchantment (but it's also half the price). You might also like Auberge but that is more in downtown Sedona. There's another nice resort by Tlaquepacque- Los Abrigados.

Broken Arrow is one of the more popular ones but you can pick one based on the time of day you want to go and level of thrill you're looking for. They take you into areas you can't otherwise access so it's not just a basic tour.

+1 to all of the above. Shopping for crystals and other woo woo treasures is another delight of Sedona.

Any recommendations on activities? We plan to hike and visit art galleries. Maybe visit a vortex? Anything else unique?

Also, any recommendations on a hotel/resort? We are looking at Enchantment Resort. Looking for a place with a pool and relaxing vibe.
