It seems like they are really just angling for obese vs not, with no more "overweight" category. Either you are at-risk for diabetes/heart disease or you aren't.

I don't know. I'm a 6' guy and 27 BMI is 200 pounds. I've been everywhere from 180-215 in my adult life and it was only when I was above 200 that I started to look overweight. Not huge.

Someone posted about being prediabetic the other day. Said their BMI was 24. I happened to be in a doctor's office, and they had a BMI chart. At my height, I'd have to be like 165 lbs. to be 24 BMI and that's still normal weight. That's 30 lbs more than I am now and would be FAT. Most American's are fat.

There is a new suggestion obese should be 27 BMI + ! It seems really crazy to me. I was there not so long ago and definitely didn't look huge or have big health issues.
