The consequences to the student over this alleged behavior could be tremendous. Kids are young and fragile. A child being disciplined can be very traumatizing and stunt their emotional growth.
Certainly no one wants that.

I have a friend who is also a teacher’s aide and she has been treated horribly by a couple students, even bullied and the school always sides with the kids (and their parents). They have no interest in disciplining the kids or telling the parents the truth.
