Maybe you should educate yourself on types of fabric.

I only do if I’m planning or be outside on a hot humid day, otherwise I’m head to toe wrinkles. I have a great pair of linen shorts I pair with a gauze swim cover.

NP, is this supposed to be funny? Or have you truly never seen gauze clothing. Or you just don’t like it and thought you were clever? Go, girl, give us nothing.

Anyway, OP, I think it’s fine in theory but I guess I’m imagining a loose, unstructured linen. Though, I suppose gauze could look fine with structured Irish linen.

Do they look good together? If so, it’s fine. I think it can be interesting to mix textures though I don’t know I’ve ever done those two together. No reason other than I only have linen tops and dresses and gauze blouses. Not pants or skirts in either.

Is it ok to wear a linen top with gauze pants, or a gauze top with linen pants? Or do the two textures compete with each other and it’s better to wear just one or the other in an outfit? Thanks!
