Meetup has online groups on a number of subjects: book clubs, travel, history etc

The Great Courses - available through her library for free, likely. It’s not classes but like documentaries.

The Smithsonian offers online classes on various history/art topics too. Small fee for those.

My 86 year old mom is quite sharp, thankfully, but suffers severe mobility issues that are worsening quickly. She spends 95%+ of her time each day in her home, on the couch watching tv and on her ipad. I can tell she is becoming depressed from the lack of social interaction, yet I live across the country so am unable to help much other than during my visits.

She loves to learn, especially about history. Are there any online adult resources similar to Outschool (which is for kids) that offer interesting but not too involved classes in areas of interest?
