Sorry, I didn't mean to laugh in a mean way. I'm a mother and when my kids were little this is the sort of stuff my ex did. After a few years, I decided I wasn't going to depend on him anymore; I learned to just explicitly say what I wanted/expected out of the day. And my dad was definitely like this.
