My trainer would have me skip cardio altogether and focus entirely on weights. But I love to walk and I love yoga, so I've decided a balance is right for me. I'm doing two full body workouts with heavy weights, two vinyasa flow classes, and two long walks each week. That program feels right to me but may not to you.
I’d focus on lifting 3-4 days. If you have other days, add yoga into them. Agree with skipping cardio and walking around your neighborhood instead.

I enjoy combining balance and strength. Try standing push press while balancing on one leg. Or standing russian twists while balancing on one leg. The amount you improve in balance over a few weeks is gratifying, and useful in general.
Good luck! Keep at it.
