I like Nike dry fit fitness clothes but I hate their tacky and prominent logo, so I quit wearing their clothes. Makes you feel like a tacky ad when there's a huge logos on your top, shorts, socks, and shoes.

I can't imagine basing my running shoe on what everyone else is wearing! I wear what's best for my foot and my gait as do all of the UMC women runners I know. For the last few years, I've worn Brooks running shoes. If Nikes fit me best, I'd wear those instead.

What kind of workout scene is this if you feel the need to wear a fashionable workout shoe?? I understand wanting a fashionable sneaker for every day, but footwear for working out should be based on your foot and the type of activity you are doing.

I don't understand Salomon. Their shoes don't look comfortable at all to walk around in.

There was a sort of viral real estate tweet recently about how they know a house will sell for over ask if the open house has lots of couples wearings On Cloud trainers and Maison Margiela (GAT) sneakers.

Nike has lost market share, but it’s definitely not over. I go to an upscale boutique fitness studio in Manhattan, and the 20-somethings are fairly evenly divided between Nike, Hoka, On, and then some other stuff.

I'm surprised by how many women I see wearing the smaller brands and their sort of tall and bouncy trainers for leisure.

I've always worn Nike as they fit me best. I have another brand and hate them.

On walks I notice very few of the most stylish women wearing Nikes anymore. And as I'm shopping for a couple of pairs of new shoes, one for actual walks and jogs and one to keep clean for leisure wear, and even the most expensive and newest Nikes look so off. I'm gravitating towards On, Salomon, Hoka ... and maybe New Balance, Saucony, or Asics.
