He and his wife (the woman he married right after we broke up ... who had the same name I do and had attended the same obscure college I did with the same major) had their house foreclosed on and then the wife filed for divorce within a year after that. Their two kids, both special needs, were preschool age at the time. He's been a serial monogamist since -- I've seen pictures of him at his favorite Caribbean beach resort with a series of about 5 different women since. He's single now. I'm lol-ing over here at it all. The only reason I know any of this is that he friended me on FB years ago.

He was one of the architects of January 6. Whenever I mention my husbands ex wife, he counters with “well at least she didn’t attempt to overthrow democracy”. Good times.

Just reconnected on Facebook. I left my hometown, married, had a child and widowed. Had a great career and traveled a lot. Nice house, car and standard of living. He never left, never married, blue collar job, and rents in a poor area. Still a nice guy.

My ex wife divorced 2 other women within 10 years of our divorce. I have not heard from her since our son graduated college and I am glad. Her last husband reached out to me asking for advice how to deal with her craziness lol.

She's a very famous celebrity stylist. Follow her on IG and she lives a glamorous life - artsy husband, kids in designer clothes, traveling constantly for work around the globe and hitting all the major events (Oscars, Golden Globes, Cannes, etc.)

I was in NYC maybe a decade ago for work. It was winter and very cold, I was bundled up. I was walking down 14th Street after meeting some friends for dinner and I swear we passed each other on the sidewalk. We both kind of looked at each other knowingly and kept walking (a very NY moment). I was probably 1.5 blocks away when I realized it was her.

She died.

I hadn't had any kind of communication with her in 20+ years. Every couple of years, I'd get curious and Google her name. One of those times, it was her obituary from two or three months prior. She died from cancer at age 48 leaving behind a husband and a 19 year old son.

It hit me harder than I would have supposed, given our lack of contact. I decided it was because my feelings about her were tied so closely to my memories of being in my early 20s.

She's married with two kids and lives a few hours from DC. We attended each other's weddings and are Facebook friends, but aren't really in touch. I think we would have had a good life together, but I am happy with who I married and she seems happy too.

No idea now. Last I heard was about a decade ago. He was shocked and upset when I broke up with him and didn't take it well. The way he handled it made me want nothing to do with him.

She died three years ago after a very long illness. She had a very difficult life with a couple of divorces then she lost her husband. I never had any contact with her but we had a mutual friend who kept me informed.

I’m not in contact with her and haven’t been for a long time. I looked her up on Facebook after having a dream with her mom in it. Unfortunately, I found that she’s battling cancer and is about have way through chemo. I don’t know what to do. Do I reach out and tell her I wish her all the best?
