Bumping. Late to plan but thinking of going to Puerto Rico this June.
Looking for a calm beach to snorkel, if possible near the hotel.

Read other threads and seems:
Wyndham is a nice resort but their beach is rough
Luquillo, Rincon, Escambron

Want to relax…no kayaking or getting on ferries to islands (I know they would be prettier)

Any recs would be appreciated!

We snorkeled at Palamino island (took a boat from Fajardo).

We also loved this area, just past Isla Verde. It’s mostly locals. Drive to the part where you see an ocean “pool” .
It’s only 2-3 ft deep but good visibility for snorkeling. You can and should stop to eat at one of the roadside shacks in Pinones while there!

We enjoyed snorkeling at Gilligan's Island, near the Copamarina resort on the south side of PR.

Trying to plan a trip to Puerto Rico.
One parent with two middle schoolers.
Main purpose is to relax and snorkel, learned from DCUM about the Escambron beach and staying at Caribe Hilton might be easy.

Maybe will venture out to Viequez.

Open to any other suggestions, especially a nice snorkeling spot that is close to the hotel. Tks!
