Yes my kid is incoming pre-K and I didn’t consider Wilson for that reason!

Have to believe diminished J.O. Wilson demand is related to the impending swing space/renovation. I do not blame ECE parents for not wanting to deal with bussing for little kids. Trajectory will pick up when new building opens fall 2026.

So short waitlist is under 10. No given but enough optimism for them to make a list.
We are only a few spots north from that at PK3 Takoma.
I wasn’t optimistic but if they are considering short at 9. Maybe a few more than that we have a chance.

Sela used to be a safety for PK3 for years. To see them not on this list for PK3 was a little surprising.

This is right, at least to the extent it’s showing up on the short waitlist list for PK3 & 4. I think maybe it hasn’t been adjusted yet to reflect the fact that the school is now fully immersion. The waitlist for English-dominant PK3 was 161 when the lottery was first run, so unfortunately (for those looking) not at all a short list …

I think Tyler may be a mistake. I'm pretty sure there isn't a non-Spanish program for PK & K anymore and somehow that means those "seats" are showing up on the short waiting list.

You're only seeing the YY Equitable Access waitlist because it's short. The regular YY waitlist isn't appearing because it isn't short.
