Sorry to piggyback, OP, but we have this issue where the contractor did the bulk of the work and then stopped showing up. The last time he was here was August! He texted in March that he'd come the following week to fix things but then didn't. At one point can we just move on with someone else to get things fixed/finalized? And how do you go about finding someone to do that? Fwiw, we didn't pay the second/final payment.
