The skate park area behind the middle has been a “seedy teens from maple Ave” hang out for generations. I had to stop taking my little ones to that play ground after the third time random teens were smoking weed in pavilions. I tried once to ask them to stop with little kids around and they got super aggressive and starting yelling profanities, that was the last straw and haven’t been back since. I wouldn’t let my kids hang out there after school

My kid said he saw a fight about to take place on his way home from school today and mentioned “gang violence.” He saw the commotion and walked the other way, then saw police cars. Anyone know what happened and if this is more serious than run of the mill middle school fighting?
