Maybe they'll make all the younger teams play 4 games within 30 hours like they did last year. And then they get anyone available to ref the games, so it turns out to be horrible. Hate this tournament.

MYS makes you pay, then hands off the entire thing to one of the tournament management companies, who can then act capriciously to throw your MYS team out of the tournament for alleged poor behavior by your coach.

SYC makes you pay. If your team signs up to help, then you get a discount otherwise every one of the SYC team is forced to play.

It's come to a point where on any given holiday there are multiple competing tournaments, these clubs also play gatekeeper sometimes keeping certain clubs/teams out.

Having to pay is a but of a scam.. ASIST is free to Arlington families, but you have to volunteer to keep expenses lower.

does anyone else feel like this is just a money grab scheme for clubs to bring in revenue.

we are forced to play, and we also have to pay the tournament fee.
