What’s uw GPA? Public or private HS?

These are both fantastic places to end up.

Know what many T20 grads call Lehigh and Bucknell grads on The Street? "Boss."

This would be the list from our private school in DC too. I would add Colgate, Colby, Penn State. It used to be Wake and Tulane in ED would be a sure admit for this type of student with high test scores, but this year has been different for both of those schools with not as many getting accepted even in ED.


Really? Colby? That surprises me.

It used to be Wake and Tulane in ED would be a sure admit for this type of student with high test scores, but this year has been different for both of those schools with not as many getting accepted even in ED.

The first kid - apply to T20, use T50 for targets and safeties

The second kid - apply to T50-75, or go to St. Andrews.

Agree.
My current senior is mostly As, but some Bs. Some APs (8 total.) 35 on the ACT and some very good, but not outstanding or "hooked" ECs
He will be going to Purdue for engineering.
