If you take the most rigorous classes and graduate top 3 at a DC Big3 you have a pretty darn high chance (close to 100%) at getting into Cornell or Dartmouth if you choose to apply. The other Ivies are bit less of a sure thing.

So really, there is a formula. You just have to be super smart to make it work.

I’m not sure they’re feeders for Dartmouth. According to 2024 IG posts, only 3 Phillips Exeter Academy seniors are attending Dartmouth in the fall.

I don’t know if that’s true or not. Either way, you have to be admitted first.

Hardly anyone lives in the town. There's no requirement of going to a particular high school.

My favorite part of DCUM is stuff like this. Fascinating.

Well, it appears that every year there are a couple of Sidwell students who have a Dartmouth mom and/or dad. On a related note, every year (based on recent memory) at least one Sidwell student has been admitted to every Ivy. Harvard, Yale, Penn, and Columbia seem to be perennial favorites.

Sidwell sends a couple of students to Dartmouth each year. There are 2 students going this year, and 2 went to Dartmouth last year.

None in the DMV.

Agree with this. Of all the Ivies, Dartmouth is by far the most under represented in the DMV schools.

STA sent 3 last year class of 2023 and NCS sent one or two as well. Not sure about this year.

This is something you can search up OP. A quick Google search tells me: Phillips Exeter, Phillips Andover, Hanover HS (public). I don't think DCUM is the place to look for this info.
