CTD is a middle and high school program, the Midwest equivalent of CTY.
I went as a child (it was fantastic) but I'm sure that experience is irrelevant now.

Subject: Northwestern CTD—any experiences?
Can anyone share any experiences they’ve had with Northwestern University’s summer CTD program for middle- and high-schoolers?
DC is supposed to be attending but program seems understaffed and disorganized, at best. Starts in a few weeks yet no communications about forms, arrival details, what to bring, selecting roommates, etc. I’ve never signed up for a camp that didn’t inundate with all that stuff, but this is a step too far in the other direction. We’ve planned our whole summer around this, and it’s expensive, so I’m getting worried.
