One kid and two I’m assuming functional adults. How much help do you need? No I’m not helping you.

Kids don't go in scammer bc it's has too much radiation. Better for you not to go in it either. You just go in the metal detector. Bring as little as possible. You already have the baby. Schlep less. Good luck.

I don’t understand why you would ask a bunch of strangers who may give you incorrect information as opposed to going on the TSA website which clearly has this information. I’m not trying to be a jerk. I’m just suggesting this because the last thing you want to do is to trust incorrect information when you’re trying to get through TSA with the four month old who may or may not be screaming and stressing you out.

You don’t push the stroller through - you fold it up and put it through the security screener on the belt. Honestly if you think you’ll be traveling more, I’d get a smaller, travel stroller so you can just bring it on the plane and put it in the overhead. I’ve been very happy with the babyzen yoyo. I wouldn’t bring a big stroller and definitely not one that is more than one piece. High odds it will get damaged or something will be lost. Also, you’ll have to wait at the top of the the jet bridge until they bring it out and sometimes that takes a long time. Personally I’d buy a seat and bring the yoyo with car seat adapters and then use the car seat in the seat and the yoyo base goes in the overhead.

Kids under 13 go through the metal detector not full body scanner. So does Precheck.

Don’t bring any stroller you’re not ok with being damaged. They are not gentle with luggage even gate checked luggage.

Why would two adults need help with one infant?

OP, I echo the sentiment to bring as little as you possibly can. I'm not sure why you are bringing a bassinet but I wouldn't.

You just carry the baby through, but if you have a baby carrier (like a Beco or whatever is trendy now), you will have to take the baby out and put it through the x-ray machine.

Do not bring your UB to the airport and gate check it!!! Buy a pack n play at your destination and bring the carseat for the plane.

You will just walk through with the baby. They might ask you it's name and age. I always bring birth certificate, but no one has ever asked to see it.

Use the pre check. The stroller does go through the machine. You carry the baby through and done. Look on the tsa website for further info.

We've never flown with an infant before so no idea what to expect at security. We both have Precheck, or Premier Access via United status if that security line is any better for families. We're planning to bring a UB Vista + bassinet and have it gate-checked.

Does the stroller need to go through the x-ray machine? Can one of us go through the full-body scanner machine with the baby? Is there a special security line? Any first-hand experience/tips to share?
