Also, privates are not required to support either an IEP or comply with Section 504, unlike public schools. There are a few local privates which target students with special needs.

If your child needs accommodations and/or specialized instruction, don't you want to know if the school will be able to provide what they need?

Yes. There’s usually a question asking if your child currently has one. And if so, they ask to see it.

Ours did- but it was pertinent to a reason for why we wanted to get accepted so we sent it over.
