The first listed author was one of the lead investigators for the WHI. She is still rather begrudging in walking back their overreaction to their original findings but at least she is willing to try to be more measured in reporting the long-term results.

Did you read the article? The Post is just reporting on an analysis published in the JAMA.

That’s great news for many women! Unfortunately having had estrogen positive breast cancer, I still can’t benefit (read the whole thing to see if that had changed), but the results are good news for many.
