WJHS currently has 2942 students, with an official capacity of 2290. There is no way that the cafeteria can house all the students at lunch. So students are off campus, and some are doing things they shouldn't.
At some point, Woodward High School will open, presumably drawing some students from WJHS. However, the school board currently has no plans to build an auditorium for that high school. Will they be having assemblies and performances outside? On zoom? Who knows.

If so, I just witnessed him and other WJ students robbing the CVS for candy and other food at the Wildwood Shopping Center. Nice to see parents and MCPS are teaching kids about morals and honesty these days.

DD was horrified to learn that some of her Westland middle school classmates did this at Montgomery Mall. Back in my day, teens did the same thing - not even in the same country. It's not because they can't afford necessities. It's because some teen brains relish the thrill. For the most part, they grow into responsible adults. Those that don't drink and kill themselves at the wheel.
But good of you to crawl out from under your rock and join the rest of us.

for so many reasons. The school isn’t going to do anything. This happened off school property, so what does the school have to do with it? This is a parent issue, not a school issue.
